VALE brings together some of the organizations that breathe life into Valentino Park. These are diverse places and projects united by a common vision: to make the park an increasingly vibrant, inclusive space that is open to learning and participation.
The first step is the new Central Library, which will take shape in the renovated spaces of Torino Esposizioni. The project also includes the restoration of the Borgo, and the Teatro Nuovo, dedicated to the performing arts. Also included is the new Architecture Campus of the Turin Polytechnic, theUniversity of Turin , and theBotanical Garden.
The transformation also extends to open spaces, with the expansion of green areas, a reduction in traffic, and the creation of a large pedestrian plaza in front of Torino Esposizioni. Plans also call for the resumption of navigation on the Po River, with new landing docks, a harbor basin, and electric boats.
This project enhances the heritage of Valentino Park and opens up new possibilities for experiencing green spaces and the city.
